  a toronto child is in guarded condition after she was thrown off a bridge onto the country's busiest highway by her father who then jumped to his death.. it happened around 6 p.m. et sunday at the don mills road bridge over the 401 highway, which has six express lanes.. the child is five years old.

  You know, its stuff like this that makes me totally want to not watch the news, or read it, or hear it in any way shape or form. It is just so depressing in general, and the stuff the people do to children, almost makes me wish for a Hell just so people that have hurt children can get their just deserts.

  well, it's going to be the first memorial i'll miss out on.

  no big deal, but i guess it has to be considered one of the final stages of "apostasy" :-).

  i remember i used to see some df-ed people at memorials.

  Took my dad to his last one last year. I didn't go in, I just wheeled him up to the door and someone else took him in then I picked him up afterwards. I knew it was going to be his last one (he was in a terminal situation and passed last August) and kidded him about maybe eating and drinking the bread and wine. But he was a faithful dub, fifty years in the borg and no communion. It was a weird feeling watching all the sheep file in, I felt filled with a great sadness and pity for them, all going there to deny the sacrafice they believe Jesus made for them. Sad.

  i have decided after much soul searching that i am anointed.

  after researching the process of how one actually decides they are "special", i see that there is no way to actually prove that you are of the heavenly calling.

  the spirit has borne witness in me that i am of this special class.
